Of course, after all these general gameplay changes, follow the class ones!
We’ve spent over two years building this server from the ground up with one principle in mind: make combat feel as satisfying as it should’ve always been. Classes in the game have always had their own unique gimmicks. Hence, most of the changes listed below are aiming to increase the QoL while not taking away what makes each class unique. To that end, there will be no universal 1 minute burns. That being said, we are willing to explore different solutions to the possible syncing issue.
Class Changes
- All stat-based passives has been removed.
Tanks:
Lancer:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds
- Upon triggering Perfect Block with the skill Stand Fast, apply Strong Frontline to allies within a 40-meter range.
- New Passive - Strong Frontline: Increases damage dealt by 4% for 15 seconds.
- Adrenaline Rush now resets the cooldown of Wallop and Superleap.
Brawler:
- Burn Time: 60 Seconds
- Upon triggering Perfect Block with the skill Counter, apply Strong Frontline to allies within a 40-meter range.
- New Passive - Strong Frontline: Increases damage dealt by 4% for 15 seconds. Note: Strong Frontline will not trigger while the Irregular skill optimization is active.
- Ground Pounder now applies Ground Breaker to self and allies on the third hit.
- Ground Breaker: Increases damage dealt by 4%. Note: Ground Breaker will not apply and Ground Breaker will not generate aggro while the Irregular skill optimization is active.
- Mounting Rage fills up Rage instantly and prevents Rage from fading for 20 seconds.
Warrior:
- Burn Time: 60 Seconds
Berserker:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds.
Tank stance changes:
- Added Frontal Block to Raze / Flatten / Axe Counter / Punishing Strike.
- Axe Counter now applies Swift Counter.
- New Passive - Swift Counter: Increases charging speed by 20% for 15 seconds.
- Axe Block can now trigger Perfect Block. Upon triggering Perfect Block with the skill Axe Block, apply Strong Frontline to allies within a 40-meter range.
- New Passive - Strong Frontline: Increases damage dealt by 4% for 15 seconds. Note: Strong Frontline only applies while Intimidation is active.
- Intimidation now also increases Critical Rate by 40% and decreases Unleash’s, Colossal Fury’s, Thunder Strike’s damage by 50%
- Punishing Strike will apply the full debuff on the 1st hit. The second hit changed to apply a constant bleed.
- Bloodlust now has two new Skill Optimizations: Mock and Outrage
- Outrage applies Flurry of Blows II to self on cast and additionally increases self and party Power by 20 and Crit Power by 0.2. Can only be used while Intimidation is active.
Healers:
- Priest’s and Mystic’s Buffs can now stack with each other.
Priest:
- Burn Time: 60 Seconds
- Focus Heal:
- The Velocity skill optimization now locks the character in place and doubles the cooldown.
- The Heal skill optimization allows the skill to be used while moving.
- Divine Charge now has a much larger radius
- Regeneration Circle now heals all characters actively inside its AoE. To compensate, the total healing amount has been buffed.
Mystic:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds
- Titanic Favor:
- The Velocity skill optimization now locks the character in place and doubles the cooldown.
- The Amplified Healing skill optimization allows the skill to be used while moving.
- Thrall of Wrath can now be summoned and used simultaneously without un-summoning any other thralls.
DPS:
Archer:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds
- Rapid Fire: Reduced casts by 1 in and out of Windsong. To compensate:
- Increased RE generation both in and out of Windsong.
- People who reside away from the server’s location tend to find this skill and in extension the archer class less than enjoyable to play. To that end we have implemented some QoL changes that we hope will smooth things out.
- Radiant Arrow
- Removed HP cost for overcharging.
- Penetrating Arrow
- Removed HP cost for overcharging.
- Windsong
- Skill Optimization: Gale also increases Gust Arrow’s damage by 100%.
- Rain of Arrows
- Skill optimization Crimson Cataract increases the damage and size by 20% and reduces its projectile distance by 5 meters.
Gunner:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds
- Time Bomb: Resets the cooldown of Scattershot and applies Empowered Scattershot for 1 second.
- New buff effect - Empowered Scattershot: Increase attack speed by 30%, crit chance by 1400%, and remove recoil from Scattershot.
- Remote Trigger: Now applies Reinforced Remote Trigger on use for 10 seconds (stacks 2 times).
- New buff effect - Reinforced Remote Trigger: Increase damage dealt by Scattershot by 20%.
- Arcane Barrage: The Swift Arcane Barrage glyph now also activates after detonating the projectile.
- Burst Fire: Increased Willpower cost, damage and attack speed
- Bombardment : Now hits targets anywhere in its AoE
Sorcerer:
- Burn Time: 90 Seconds
- Fusion [Equipoise]: Increased damage multiplier.
- Mysterious Skill Advancement Level 69: Increased skill effect duration.
Ninja:
- Burn Time: 60/120 Seconds
- Reworked Skill advancement for Level 69 Lightning Spirit:
- Lightning Spirit: Increased melee damage by 20% (DC/SF/CoS/QA), Increased Burning Heart Crit Rate by 10% and Fire Avalanche damage by 15%
- Attunement
- Gives additional Chi overtime.
- Makes user Invincible while casting.
- Focus has been removed.
- EP Double Cut: Force now has a 100% chance to apply.
- Quick Attack
- Harmonious Quick Attack now deals the same amount of damage and performs the same number of hits, no matter whether it is chained or not. It is no longer required to cast Combo Attack or Chakra Thrust before it in order to enhance it.
- Improved the Hitboxes of Harmonious Quick Attack, Burning Heart and Fire Avalanche.
- Boomerang Shuriken
- Increased radius
Reaper:
- Burn Time: 60 Seconds
- Multiple Reapers can now cast Binding Scythe on the same target simultaneously.
- Shadow Lash increases skill damage and attack speed per stack.
- Shrouded Escape
- Reduced cooldown to 30 Seconds.
Berserker:
DPS stance changes:
- New Ultimate Skill - Colossal Fury: Deals massive damage, while also increasing the damage dealt by Thunder Strike, Lethal Strike and Cyclone by 10%. Additionally increase charging speed by 15% for 30 seconds when used. Shares its cooldown with Unleash.
- Bloodlust now has two new Skill Optimizations: Mock and Outrage
- Mock increases attack speed by 40%, charging speed by 75%, and reduces Lethal Strike cooldown by 92%.
- Bloodshed passive can now stack twice.
- Reworked Flatten’s Advancement Skill option.
- Strategist: Increases Attack speed by 2% and Charging Speed by 5% per stack - can stack up to 5 times. Once 5 stacks are reached, consume all stacks and increase next Thunder Strike’s damage by 50% and charging speed by 200%
Slayer:
- Burn Time: 45 Seconds
- The Focus skill optimization for Cold Blood now resets the cooldown of Overhand Strike and Punishing Blow.
- Savage Strike does not enter cooldown if the second cast is not used.
- Overhand Strike: Focus
- Increased the duration.
Valkyrie:
- Burn Time: 60/180 Seconds
- Increased overall attack speed.
- Godsfall will now generate Runemarks on 1st and 2nd cast.
- Skill Advancement Level 69
- Focus: Now gives a buff that increases Ground Bash / Glaive Strike and Runeburst damage.
- Reclamation now grants you Gjaller Horn upon cast, as an easier way to reset the decay of your Ragnarok points. Note: The player needs to already be at Max Ragnarok points.
Slaying
Slaying is now back in the game! A lot of players, us included, enjoyed that dual – edged gameplay and we feel like the changes we have made to it will bring a lot of QoL to this playstyle. In detail:
- New – Slaying Charm I: Using this charm, will instantly cause damage equal to 60% of the user’s Max HP. In addition, Healing will be reduced by 90% until the effect is cancelled.
- New – Slaying Charm II: Using this charm, will instantly cause damage equal to 60% of the user’s Max HP. In addition, Healing will be reduced by 99% until the effect is cancelled.
- New – Slaying Charm III: Using this charm, will instantly cause damage equal to 60% of the user’s Max HP. In addition, Healing will be reduced by 100% until the effect is cancelled.
- Note: When using Slaying Charm III, users will still be able to heal by using a Superior Recovery Potable. Potions that heal a % of the user’s Max HP will still not provide any healing.
Mounts passives
Moving on to mount combat passive changes! Players used to have to spend immense amount of time and effort into obtaining them to have any relevance when it comes to Leaderboards, thus we decided to tweak them. They should be a nice to have when it’s there but not necessary for any relevant gameplay type of buff.
- The 2.0 and the 1.5 buffs, are now reduced to 1.5 and 1.25 respectively.
- Dragons and Phoenixes will now have a 29 second Cooldown and an uptime of 6 seconds each.
- Dragons and Phoenixes will not be able to override one another and the bigger buff will take precedence while the other (if also active) will be paused and resumed after the bigger one goes on CD.
Card system
When the card system was first introduced, the community expressed mixed feelings — and understandably so. We feel that the system brought along issues (The excessive grind, heavy RNG dependency, and repetitive content loops) that outweighed its benefits and created more frustration and confusion rather than engagement. That is why we've decided that the best course of action is to remove the card system entirely for the foreseeable future.We believe this is a necessary step toward making the game more accessible, enjoyable, and rewarding for everyone.
Partners
Much like the cards system, the combat partners available in game are also being removed. The heavy RNG, pay-to-win elements, and combat imbalance they created led to too much variance in performance and all in all went against the experience we want to offer. Because of this, we've decided to remove combat boosting partner abilities entirely for the foreseeable future while preserving non-combat related ones.
